Global Village is one of the world’s largest tourist spot in Dubai. It is a huge outdoor entertainment complex in Dubailand. It has 27 pavilions that represent more than 75 countries with different cultures. Basically, it is a village where the world meets! It’s simply like visiting the Globe in a single day.

The moment I entered the gates, I was mesmerized with the lively, vibrant and beautiful designed of the pavilions. As soon as you get inside, the famous Eiffel Tower of France, Big Ben of London and Colosseum of Rome are on the left aisle.

Global Village is so huge that a single visit is not sufficient to explore each pavilion. Admiring the facade of the pavilions alone took most of our time. It is actually walking around Global Village that I enjoy the most.

Aside from pavilions, there are retail outlets, food stalls, cultural shows, gaming area, and park rides.

It took us around 40 minutes to reach the Global Village from Deira. We arrived past seven in the evening with my husband’s relatives. A special thanks to our “Ninong Tony” for the ride 🙂
Global Village is open from 4 pm to 1 am on Thursdays, Fridays and public holidays, and 4 pm to 12 mn on weekdays. We bought our tickets at the booth beside the main gate; general admission ticket is at 15 AED.
Global Village is definitely worth and highly recommended place to visit. It showcase products from all around the world. It creates a smile on the faces of millions of guests each season. It is a one-stop destination for food, shopping, entertainment, shows and much more. Plus entry fee is very cheap.
