As the weather starts to cool, all attention in the UAE turns to the great outdoors and making the most of those precious mild days in the winter months. This means that more and more people are going out during the day. It is undoubtedly the best time to enjoy, especially when you are at the ever-so-charming Dubai.
Burj Al Arab beach is a public beach surrounding the stunning, world-famous hotel, Burj Al Arab. Located in the Umm Suqeim area, it is also locally known as Umm Suqeim Beach or Sunset Beach. This place is one of the most photographed areas in Dubai and it is perfect for snapping that envy-inducing selfie with the Burj Al Arab as a backdrop.

On a national day, we went to Burj Al Arab beach with our friends for a picnic. From Deira, we took a taxi and the duration of the trip was about 25 to 30 minutes. When we arrive at the destination, you can see the beautiful view immediately, feel the cold air and there are few people on the beach.
Visit the beach for its clear blue waters, unending coastline, uninterrupted views of the Burj Al Arab and water activities like swimming and snorkeling.

Walk hand in hand with your loved one along the coastline and gazing at the beautiful scenery in front of you is a great way to relax and take in the serenity of the place.
Apart from being incredibly scenic, also attracts the crowd who just want to relax after a long day/week due to it’s lesser crowded shores. Compared to other famous beaches, this beach is relatively empty, peaceful and is ideal for those who wish to revitalise and rediscover themselves.

How to Reach Burj Al Arab Beach
Umm Suqeim lies near Jumeirah. So it is around 25-30 minutes far from the main city. The nearest metro station is Mall of Emirates MS, from the station you can take taxi and the fare is AED 14.
The truth of the matter is that going to the beach is going to be fun, no matter what you do there. You’re getting away from real life for a bit and you’ll hopefully enjoy a scenic destination—or at least just get away from home and go to beach. It’s just nice to know that there are plenty of things to do besides suntan and swim while you’re there!
